Days of Remembrance 2009

The week of April 19-26 marked the observance of Days of Remembrance for 2009 as established by the United States Congress. President Barack Obama and United States Holocaust Museum Founding Chairman Elie Wiesel participated in a special ceremony which was webcast from the United States Capitol Rotunda. The Museum's 2009 Days of Remembrance theme, Never Again: What You Do Matters encouraged people to reflect upon the power of individuals to create a more just and humane world.
